Darlington Train Station is located seven miles from Durham Tees Valley Airport; however, the train service from here is not yet fully developed. The airport is working to increase services and frequency. Rail links currently exist to Durham, Newcastle and York.

Bus:

Arriva is the bus company that operates bus links from Durham Tees Valley Airport to nearby towns and villages. Buses depart from the side of the passenger terminal. Bus 12 runs from the airport to Hurworth/Neasham and Darlington and Bus 20 runs from the airport to Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesborough.
